I am thrilled to announce that I have been elected as a member of the second term of Iran’s Student Parliament. As a senior student of intellectual property law, I am honored to have been chosen to represent my peers and contribute to the development of our country’s governance skills.
The Student Parliament is an exceptional opportunity for students to enhance their legislative and governance skills through online, offline, and workshop courses. As a participant, I was able to engage in parliamentary processes and simulate the 7th Development Plan of Iran, providing me with invaluable experience in teamwork, leadership, negotiation techniques, problem-solving, critical thinking, creative thinking, and conflict resolution.
Throughout this course, I had the privilege of meeting and collaborating with talented students from different academic fields. Together, we learned new skills and improved our legislative and governance abilities. As a member of the Research and Technology Education Commission, I had the opportunity to explore the challenges and deficiencies in the field of education and research at a macro level. We researched the current situation of universities and schools in Iran and presented appropriate solutions.
One of my key objectives during this period was to promote the teaching of intellectual property rights as a curriculum unit at all elementary schools in the country. This national plan would ensure that children and adolescents become familiar with the concepts of intellectual property and their rights in this field from an early age.
I am eager to continue participating in research training programs as a researcher and develop my talents further. This experience has instilled in me a sense of confidence and inspiration to continue contributing to the development of our country’s governance skills.
